The Jewel of Kashmir, an exceptional sapphire and diamond ring
Kashmir origin (no Kashmir row exists in this register's origin taxonomy). AGL CS 62143 (2 July 2014), Gubelin 14070301 (13 August 2014), SSEF 77842 (9 January 2015): natural, Kashmir, no indications of heating or clarity enhancement. Sold for HKD 52,280,000 per Sotheby's own editorial. Forbes reported a world per-carat record for a Kashmir sapphire at USD 242,145; IDEX later cites 243,703. Surpassed per carat by the Regent Kashmir in 2025.
