GemsVerified grew out of Deluxe Astrology, the astrology platform built by the Khorana family from three generations of practice. In the Vedic tradition a gemstone is not an ornament: a Jyotish reading often ends with a specific stone — a natural, untreated blue sapphire, a Burmese ruby, a Colombian emerald — and the person is sent out to buy one.
That is where the questions arrived. Deluxe Astrology readers asked the same thing in a dozen languages: where do I buy a real stone, from someone I can trust, at a price that means something? The trade had answers — company records, laboratory reports, treatment disclosure — but they sat scattered behind listings, marketing pages and review counts that anyone can manufacture.
So we built the layer that was missing. GemsVerified documents dealers from the public record, keeps verification status separate from listing, computes a score that payment cannot move, and is now adding origin intelligence, price data and timed auctions hosted by verified dealers. It is built by the same small team that runs Deluxe Astrology, under the same rule: depth first, presented clearly, independent of who is selling.

Purchases are concluded directly with the dealer, on the dealer's own terms; we hold no stock, process no payments between buyer and dealer and take no commission. When GV Auctions opens, sales will be hosted by verified dealers and approved auction houses, with GemsVerified supplying the catalogue and bidding infrastructure and never holding buyer funds.
