A diamond and sapphire bracelet, Cartier
Circa 1928, buff-top calibre sapphires, weights not stated; accompanied by a copy of a Cartier valuation report of 19 December 2005. Sold for CHF 294,400 per Roskin Gem News Report.
- Lot 585
An emerald and diamond necklace, Bucherer
Five step-cut Colombian emeralds totalling 30.45 carats (13.24, 6.47, 4.50, 3.16, 3.08); SSEF 150628, 150627, 150626, 150625 and 150624 (December 2025). Oil disclosures range from none on the 3.16 carat stone to moderate on the 6.47; the lot is recorded as oiled. With a copy of the original Bucherer invoice of 10 December 1986. Forbes reports it sold for about USD 1 million; a rounded dollar figure for a franc sale is not entered in the money columns.

An impressive pair of sapphire and diamond pendent earrings
A pair of step-cut Ceylon sapphires of 35.74 and 30.54 carats, both no indications of heating; Gubelin 22092063 (13 October 2022) and 21112117 (16 December 2021). The weight column is left empty because the lot is two stones. Sold for CHF 640,000 per Roskin Gem News Report. No reserve.

A magnificent emerald and diamond necklace, from a royal collection
Thirteen Colombian emerald drops totalling 347.11 carats plus an 11.76 carat cabochon, 358.87 carats in all; the weight column is left empty because the group is not one stone. Thirteen AGL reports (25 March to 23 April 2025) and Gubelin 25100075 (27 October 2025); oil disclosed from minor to moderate across the drops. Sold for CHF 1,920,000 per Roskin Gem News Report.

An important ruby and diamond ring, Van Cleef & Arpels
SSEF 15081 (24 November 2025): Burmese origin, no indications of heating and a minor amount of oil in fissures — an unusual disclosure pairing for a ruby, recorded here under the oiled column with the no-heat finding in this note. Sold for CHF 691,200 per Roskin Gem News Report.

An attractive sapphire and diamond bracelet
Kashmir origin, no indications of heating: SSEF 77145 (17 October 2014), Gubelin 15025167 (15 February 2015), AGL CS 64504 (21 November 2014). Saleroom notice: not guaranteed as Cartier as stated in the print catalogue. Forbes reports it sold for USD 622,000; a dollar figure for a franc sale is not entered in the money columns.

The Peacock of Ceylon, an important unmounted sapphire
SSEF 129570 (30 May 2023) and Gubelin 26040143 (30 April 2026), Ceylon origin, no indications of heating, with a GRS platinum rarity award. Sold for CHF 1,548,800 per Roskin Gem News Report; IDEX rounds to 1.55 million.
