Worth knowing
The EGL name is used by several separately operated organisations in different regions and there is no single global EGL entity. EGL USA states that it is independently owned and operated, that it became independently owned in 1986, and that it evaluates stones exclusively in North America. A report from one EGL-named entity is not issued by any other, so a report number must be checked on the verification page of the entity named on that report.
