A Colombo house trading from the World Trade Center at Echelon Square, founded in 1980 as Rainbow Gems by the late Volly Dangedara and now run by the second generation of the family. It states its own mining ground at Demuwawatha in Ratnapura.
The house names blue, pink, yellow, padparadscha, white, green, purple, orange, bi-colour and star sapphire, alongside ruby, alexandrite and chrysoberyl cat's eye, and says its stones are reported by SSEF and GRS.
