About
Detroit-based gem-cutting and dealing firm started in 1981 when Roger Dery funded his first buying trip to India and Sri Lanka, now run with Ginger Dery. Its official site describes coloured stones purchased in the source country whenever possible, with an emphasis on East Africa and a family-managed tanzanite mine in Tanzania, and a portion of sales donated to Gem Legacy. Stones are sold through its own collection and to trade partners.
